Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. 24 hours prior to weekday appointments, 48 hours prior to weekend appointments, and waived if cancelled due to labor. Appointments may be cancelled prior to cancellation policy via phone, email, or via your Glow profile.

Q. If I’m late will I still get my full treatment time?

A. We created our services to allow appropriate time for the full enjoyment of each treatment. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the best possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded an extension of service unless the time is available and at the discretion of management. When it is not possible to extend the time, treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.

Q. Is your facility strictly for pregnant clients?

A. No, our services include non-natal (standard), prenatal, postnatal therapy. We also invite our clients to refer their partners (male or female).

Q. How do I book an in-home service?

We have suspended our in-home services in order to protect our staff and clients from COVID-19 to the best of our abilities. We are confident in our stringent screening and sanitizing protocols within our studios.

Q. Where do I purchase Gift Certificates?

A. Gift certificates are purchased via our website, GlowBirthandBody.com via the BOOK & BUY link.

Q. Can I purchase a Gift Certificate at the studios in NYC, Oakland and Chicago?

A. No, gift certificates are distributed digitally HERE. However, at the very end of the transaction there is an option to email the recipient or yourself a link to the PDF copy for printing.

Q. Why do I owe money if I have a Gift Certificate?

A. Gift Certificates hold the monetary value they were purchased for. There may be a difference between the price of your massage and the dollar value of the gift certificate depending on when your certificate was purchased.

Q. Why do I have to enter my credit card info even if I have a Gift Certificate or Series?

A. Credit card info is needed to reserve all appointments. No charge will be transacted until the time of service, at which time you can elect to pay with a gift certificate, credit card, or series. You may also enter the series or gift certificate information in your appointment notes and our staff will apply it prior to your service.

Q. Are Gift Certificates refundable?

A. Gift Certificates sales are final and are not refundable at any time.

Q. How do I leave a tip?

A. Glow has a no-tipping policy. Since our founding in 2010 we’ve been committed to paying a fair wage to our team. Your presence and satisfaction is what’s important to us. If you’re moved to show us some love, refer a friend or leave a happy Yelp review!

 Q. Can I bring my baby?

A. We love your babies; we’ve known most of them since they were in your tummies! Most of our clients come to Glow for quiet regeneration away from the usual demands of daily life. With that in mind, we offer in-home massage for moms who need to be close to babies so we can support your childcare and breastfeeding needs while keeping a quiet space for moms in need of respite.

 Q. What kind of massage oil do you use?

A. We have used Sacred Earth Botanicals Organic Massage Oil Blend since 2010. Ingredients: Certified Organic Sunflower Oil, Certified Organic Safflower Oil, Certified Organic Olive Oil, Certified Organic Jojoba Oil, and non-GMO Vitamin E. There are NO Nut Oils, fragrance or harmful preservatives. If you have sensitivities or allergies, we welcome you to bring your own oil for your session.
